Three men are facing charges after West Nipissing Police received a theft complaint from a local business on Friday.

Police say the suspects left in a UHaul truck which was spotted westbound on Hwy 17, then Drive-In Road.

That’s where two people were arrested after they got out of the vehicle.

Police say the UHaul then fled the area, was spotted and pursued a couple times in Sturgeon Falls and Verner, with police discontinuing the chase — the first time because of erratic driving by the suspect.

Other police agencies were notified and the truck was eventually stopped in Orillia with over $5,000 in stolen merchandise located. The investigation continues.
