It’s quite the accomplishment for a Syrian immigrant and North Bay resident, who has announced he’s solved an astronomic physics mystery of the Neutron Star limits.

Ibrahim Jabr disclosed his findings to scientists, community and government leaders, the North Bay Astronomy Club and others Thursday.

Jabr says defining the diameter and mass of the Neutron Star and theoretical equations of the particles are the keys to understanding how the universe was created and will evolve.

He says this will lead to important applications in various fields including industry, medicine, renewable clean technologies and future space travel.

“To support new materials (that) can support high speed, high pressure so we can use it in the future to make space ships,” he said.

Jabr also says his new theory, revealed to officials in late June, will also contribute to fighting global warming.
