Zach Bratina (pictured) scored a hat trick giving him six goals on the season.

The Troops and the Steelheads will meet five more times this season.

Battalion Head Coach Stan Butler says they know those meetings will be tough games.

The Battalion led 4-1 at the beginning of the third, but the Steelheads fought back to make it a one goal game.

Butler talked about his team’s defensive efforts in the last few minutes of the third.

Jake Smith made 33 saves, 18 of them in the third.

It was also his 63rd career win – second most in Battalion history.

Three games still this week for the Troops including the Pink in the Rink game on Thursday against Oshawa.
