The North Bay YMCA is giving back this holiday season with a donation to OutLoud North Bay.
Several boxes of clothing, accessories and memberships have been donated to the peer to peer support and community hub for LGBTQ2+ youth.
The YMCA of Northeastern Ontario received 50 boxes from the YMCA of USA.
“It was important to us to give back this holiday season. It’s been a hard year for everyone, and if this donation and memberships can help these kids feel better and live healthier, happier lives, we’re happy that we can help give back and make a positive impact for them,” said Elizabeth Aver, Marketing and Communications Specialist at the YMCA of Northeastern Ontario.
“I’ve been saying for the past few months that we need to invest in our community, so to share resources and build partnerships we just become one big family, forever grateful to those that step up to help rise others up” said Seth Compton, Founder of OutLoud North Bay.
