Tourism North Bay has gotten together with a travel app to highlight local tourist activities.

The app is called Driftscape and Executive Director of Tourism North Bay Steve Dreany says it is good for people coming through the city as well as local residents.

“As you come into the community if you have the app open you can see the different hotels, businesses and tourism oriented places. But it also highlights different points of interest and activities,” he says.

He says the app was launched on Monday and you can download it on Android & iOS for free.

Dreany says the app will continue to grow as more places of interest, tours, people and businesses are added.
