A 36 year old city female has been charged with trafficking, theft and criminal breach of trust.

Police say 130 fentanyl patches were removed through someone’s access to a secured facility at a local pharmacy.

The fentanyl patches taken have an estimated street value of $39,000.00.

Police say they were initially contacted about a theft of prescription drugs by a local pharmacy technician.

North Bay Police rescued a bear cub from a tree at the North Bay courthouse today.

Efforts are being made to get the cub to a sanctuary.

Police say always call them if you see a bear and don’t attempt the rescue yourself.
