North Bay Police are investigating after a bomb threat was received at the North Bay Regional Health Centre just before 9:30 this morning.

Police say no suspicious packages or devices were found after a thorough search of the building and the grounds.

They also say there were no evacuations and hospital operations ran normally during the search, which wrapped up around 11 am.

Police say officers worked closely with hospital staff to search the building and property to ensure the safety of the hospital community, and the security of the facility.
