A 38 year old West Nipissing man has been charged following an incident in Sturgeon Falls last night.

OPP received a report of a suspicious person on Dufferin Street.

Police say the person was wanted and was non-compliant upon arrest.

Police say a police vehicle was damaged and offers were assaulted.

The charges include resisting a peace officer, assaulting a peace officer and mischief.
