The provincial government has announced $25 million in emergency funding for post secondary institutions including Canadore Collge due to COVID-19 .

Canadore’s share of that is $685,000.

President George Burton says the funding will enable the college to continue with on-line supports for students and will help ensure the resources are in place to support their success.

The funds will also be used to continue student supports such as tutoring and counselling.
