As we told you last week, The Ontario Secondary School Teachers Federation was planning a one day strike on Thursday.

on Monday,  the Near North District School Board issued a release saying due to safety concerns including inability to provide the required supervision to students, a full withdrawal of services will result in all elementary and secondary schools being closed to students on Thursday.
The board says parents will be required to make alternate arrangements for their children for Thursday only.

In addition, All Early Years Programs; Childcare, School Aged Programs and Early On Child and Family Centres will remain open.

Community Use will run as usual.
