A career game for Brandon Coe gives North Bay their second straight win on the road in a 5-2 victory over the IceDogs in St. Catharines, and for the first time in his career, a hat trick for Coe.

It was done with a little premonition from Battalion Assistant Coach Scott Wray.

“Before the game I said to him ‘hey you still have a chance to get 30 goals this year,’ you’ve got ten left. He looked at me like I had ten heads, but I said, ‘well if you get three tonight and then you maybe get two here and two there’ and after he scored his third he gave me a wink and that was good to see.”

Coe’s three were aided by goals from Kyle Jackson and Chad Denault as Joe Vrbetic made 32 saves on 34 shots for his fourth win in his last five games played.
