The best stretch of the season continues for the Troops as the Battalion are heading back north of the border with two points after a 5-4 win over the Erie Otters in Pennsylvania.

North Bay (15-39-4-0) have now picked up 10 points in a seven game stretch that gives them a 4-1-2-0 record in that span, but the latest one was not easy to come by.

The Troops were heavily outshot 40-15, including 12-2 in the third period but managed to hold off the 8th place Erie Otters (24-24-4-7) who were looking to gain a couple of points on the last spot in the Western Conference.

North Bay got goals from David Campbell, Liam Arnsby, Shane Bulitka, Brandon Coe and Simon Rose, while Cameron Lamour made 36 saves on 40 shots for the win.

North Bay will visit the Niagara IceDogs on Sunday afternoon.
