The North Bay Battalion with a rare Wednesday night home game this evening.

The Troops host Sudbury for the final time in the regular season.

Coach Ryan Oulahen says the teams are quite familiar with each other as the 5th meeting since mid December.

“Execution will be key as both teams know each other really well. The question is which team will get big performances and the game promises to have a great atmosphere,” he says.

The Wolves lead the season series 4-2.

Oulahen says the team’s play has improved of late with 3 wins and an overtime loss in the last five games and there’s important reasons why.

“Blocked shots, boxing guys out and paying the price a little bit more. That can pay dividends as that compete can translate into the neutral and offensive zones,” Oulahen says.

Broadcast time on Country 600 CKAT is 6:50.
