Saturday is a big day for the Nipissing Serenity Hospice.

After eight years of hard work, countless volunteer hours and continuous community support, the 10-bed hospice at 799 John Street is officially opening it’s doors.

Once in operation the hospice will provide 24 hour palliative care and respite services to residents in Nipissing and East Parry Sound, free of cost to the patient and their family.

The community is invited to tomorrow’s grand opening and tours of the hospice at 10 am.
