A special weather statement continues for the Northeast Region, and North Bay area, with snow or ice pellets expected tomorrow into Sunday.

Freezing rain is expected tonight.

Environment Canada says snow and ice pellet amounts of 15 to 25 cm are possible by the time the snow ends Sunday afternoon, although there’s still some uncertainty with accumulation amounts.

Strong winds will also cause blowing snow and reduced visibility.
