A successful 101.9 Rock McDonald’s Toy Drive.

1,703 toys were collected Tuesday at McDonald’s locations in North Bay and Sturgeon Falls.

The toys are being delivered to several community groups to help brighten the holidays for local children.

Groups include L.I.P.I., The Children’s Aid Society, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, The Nipissing Transition House, Ojibway Women’s Lodge, The Crisis Centre and the Pediatric Ward at the North Bay Regional Health Centre.

Anyone who brought in a new, unwrapped toy to McDonald’s in North Bay and Sturgeon Falls on Tuesday received a select extra value meal for $4.
