The Powassan Voodoos wrapped up a weekend road trip with a 9-0 loss in Blind River yesterday.

This after the Voodoos saw their 21 game winning streak end on Saturday with a 5-1 loss to the Soo Eagles.

Powassan started the weekend with a 4-1 win over Sault Ste Marie on Friday.

 

A weekend split for the Nipissing men’s hockey team.

After a 5-4 loss to Carleton on Friday, the Lakers scored a 4-3 shootout win over Ottawa on Saturday.

In OUA women’s hockey, Nipissing beat Ontario Tech 3-1 on Friday then lost 2-1 to Queen’s on Saturday.

The Nipissing men’s volleyball team lost in Windsor then won against Western while the Nipissing women lost both of their games.

Both Lakers basketball teams lost their games against Brock and McMaster.

 

Both Canadore volleyball teams improved to 6-1 on the season with 3-0 wins over Seneca on Saturday.

In OCAA men’s basketball, Canadore dropped to 0-9 with weekend losses to Redeemer and Niagara.
