Make it 11 straight losses for the North Bay Battalion.

Last night, Hamilton beat the Troops 5-1 at Memorial Gardens.

The Bulldogs scored three goals in the last two minutes of the first period to take a 3-0 lead.

Battalion Head Coach Stan Butler says the team has to figure out how to avoid those bad stretches.

“When your team is fragile and you haven’t had a lot of success for a while, any little thing that goes wrong always seems to magnify and become a lot worse than probably what it should,” he says.

Brad Chenier scored the lone goal for North Bay.

Joe Vrbetic made 34 saves on the night.

Next up, the Battalion are home to Barrie on Sunday.
