A 53 year old Sturgeon Falls man is facing charges after OPP intercepted a package earlier this year.

Police say they were contacted by the Canada Border Services Agency about a sound suppressor for a firearm destined for a residence in Sturgeon Falls.

The man has been charged with two counts of importing a prohibited device and unauthorized possession of a weapon.

Police seized two firearm suppressors and six firearms.
