The North Bay Battalion are back on the bus this weekend, starting with a road trip to Guelph tonight.

After three losses away from Memorial Gardens last weekend, Assistant Coach Adam Dennis says they’re looking at the positives.

He says they lost those games in five minute spans, so they were in the mix for 55 minutes each time. He also says it’s the little things that lead to success.

“Making a big save when the game is tight, closing out last minutes of periods, killing off a big penalty and change the momentum like that, it changes games and that’s a hallmark that you need to have if you’re going to be a winning squad,” he says.

Dennis also says they need everybody to contribute and work hard.

“We’re not a team that’s going to have a 60 goal scorer this year, so we need four balanced lines, we need all of our ‘D’ to be going, we need to be as close to perfect as we can when we’re playing games.  We need everybody and I don’t think that’s lost on anybody and I don’t think the fight is lost in our room,” he says.
