Another appeal from city police and OPP for any information related to what they call the ‘suspicious’ disappearance of Luke Joly-Durocher.
North Bay Police Chief Scott Tod says they continue to investigate the March 2011 disappearance and they believe Joly-Durocher met with foul play.

“Foul play or suspicion of foul play is always something we should consider in most deaths that are unexplained. Working with the OPP has helped us access services that would further conclude that foul play is suspected in his death,” he says.

Detective Constable Dave Wilson says they’re certain the 20 year old went to Shooters at the Voyager Inn after the previous sighting in 2011.
That is now his last confirmed location.
Detective Inspector Kurtis Fredericks of the OPP’s Criminal Investigation Branch says they’ve also put up billboards on the major entrances into the city.

“It’s another way of getting it out in the public focus for people to see. And hope this brings back a memory from that time. Luke’s picture is there. It’s something people can see every day as they drive by and it jogs someone’s memory and it encourages them to come forward,” Detective Inspector Fredericks says.

Hundreds of interviews have been conducted during the police investigation, with persons of interest and suspects identified, and many ruled out.
Police also say there are other persons of interest that they will be speaking with.
A $50,000 reward is being offered to anyone who comes forward with information concerning those responsible for Luke’s disappearance.
