A 40 year old North Bay male has been charged with four counts of Break, Enter and Commit Theft.

Police say the charge relates to break-ins on Lisgar Street, Third Avenue, Algonquin Avenue and Morin Street.

Police say the arrest was made on Tuesday.

Police caution the public not to contaminate a crime scene because it’s important to protect the scene because it’s easier to identify the person responsible if a scene has not been tampered with.

The break-ins occurred between June 16th-September 18th.

Police say due to advances in police investigative tools, including DNA collection, it’s possible to track people for the crimes they commit long after the incident has occurred.
