Thursday was all about tiaras and tractors at the International Plowing Match and Rural Expo in Verner.

It was plow day for the 18 Ontario Queen of the Furrow contestants, including West Nipissing’s Zoë Dauphinais.

The winner will be announced tonight.

Day four today at the IPM includes RAM Rodeo Tour performances, along with the Canadian Cowgirls precision drill team.

Once again there’s live chainsaw wood-carving demonstrations, the West Coast Lumberjack Show, hands-on activities, Antique and Historical displays, plenty of live music and more.

The plowing competition starts at 9 am today.
