West Nipissing OPP are reporting several thefts from the weekend.

Police say they occurred at the same grocery store on Front Street in Sturgeon Falls last Saturday afternoon.

Police say three female customers had their wallets stolen from their purses.

Police believe the same suspect is responsible for all three thefts and he may have had an accomplice.

Police say additionally, there was another incident at a grocery store in Noelville.

The male suspect from the first three incidents is described as being in his late 30’s, darker skin, approximately 6’2” tall, short dark hair, has an accent and was wearing a navy blue t-shirt and sunglasses on his head. Meantime, someone stole a Samsung tablet from an unlocked vehicle parked in the driveway on Dutrisac Road in Sturgeon Falls late last week.

Anyone with information is asked to call OPP or Near North Crime Stoppers.
