The latest part of the restoration project for the outside of North Bay City Hall has been approved by council.

Councillor Mike Anthony says this $105,000 project which is expected to start sometime this spring is all about making things safer and making the outside more accessible.

“We’re going to get rid of the uneven areas that is causing water to pond up and freeze which creates a hazard. It’ll have a proper base installed and bricks will be replaced,” he says.

He says the flag poles will also be replaced.

Anthony says this is stage 4 of the 5 stage restoration plan.
