North Bay OPP seized a loaded handgun and about $27,000 worth of suspected cocaine and marijuana after a traffic stop in Callander last night (Tuesday).

OPP stopped a vehicle for speeding around 11:30 pm.

After speaking to the driver, officers became suspicious and started an investigation.

The driver faces 17 charges in all, include drugs and firearms-related counts, along with speeding and driving while suspended charges.

The passenger is facing nine drugs and firearms-related counts.

Both men are from Barrie.
