A couple of early third period goals make the difference in a 6-5 Peterborough win over North Bay on Sunday afternoon.

The Battalion and Petes were tied 3-3 going into the third, but it was the Petes getting three in the final frame to secure the victory.

Battalion Assistant Coach Adam Dennis says special teams hurt their chances to win the game.

Justin Brazeau became the first North Bay Battalion player to record 100 points in a single season.

Brazeau got a goal and an assist.

Dennis says they will continue to need to rely on Brazeau down the stretch.

North Bay also got goals from Mitchell Russell, Matthew Struthers and two from Theo Calvas.

The Troops host Barrie Tuesday night.
