The Algonquin Barons are 1-1 at the NOSSA ‘A/AA’ boys hockey tournament.

They opened with a 5-1 win over Lo-Ellen in Sudbury on Monday, but lost 3-1 to Korah from the Soo in their second game last night.

Meantime, Widdifield is 2-1 at the OFSAA girls ‘AA’ volleyball championship in Amherstburg.

And Algonquin is 0-2 at the OFSAA ‘A” championship in Kenora.

 

The Powassan Voodoos are holding a family fun skate tonight (Tuesday) at 7:15 pm at the Powassan Sportsplex.

The Voodoos will be there and officials say fans can buy game worn jerseys for $85 at the event.

Powassan wraps up the regular season Thursday night with a make-up home game against French River.

 

Vision Volleyball is holding a mini-March Break Camp next week at West Ferris Secondary School.

The camp is for players ages 10-15 and runs March 12th to 14th, from 10 am to 2 pm each day.

The cost $150.
