A 27 year old Huntsville male is facing several charges including including flight from police, resisting arrest, dangerous driving and possession of stolen property.

On Saturday, police say a vehicle was going at a high rate of speed after it took off from a West Nipissing area restaurant where it stopped initially for erratic driving.

Police say the vehicle fled when the driver was asked to exit the vehicle.

The vehicle was eventually stopped again on Jocko Point Road.

It turns out the vehicle was stolen in London, Ontario.

A 45 year old male has been charged by West Nipissing Police with assault and forcible confinement.

Police say the charges laid were laid after receiving a complaint about a female being assaulted by her spouse last Friday.

Police say she was grabbed and pinned down on the bed.

A 22 year old male has been charged with theft and possession of stolen property. This after items were taken from 2 locations.
