City man charged with arson

North Bay Police have charged a 22 year old city man after Sunday afternoons fire in the 100 block of Main Street East.

Police say the man is charged with arson and mischief under $5,000.

They say say the mischief charge involves allegations that property belonging to a business near the fire scene was damaged.

Fire officials earlier reported the fire was contained to the hallway of a four-unit apartment building.

They also say paramedics treated and brought two people to hospital after the fire.
