The North Bay Battalion are hoping for a better result against the Sudbury Wolves tonight than the last two times the teams have met.

The Wolves have outscored the Troops 12-0 in those games, and now lead the season series 4-2.

The margin of victory by the Wolves has not been lost on assistant coach Adam Dennis.

“They’ve embarrassed us twice. I’m a prideful person and I think most of the players are. That’s motivation enough,” Dennis says.

Dennis was asked about whether ice time adjustments for players changes when the games become more crucial.

At this point those issues get sorted out. You want to go with the best guys that will give you the best chance to win. We’re at a point where points are crucial and we’re going in to try and win a game,” he says.

The Battalion are 8th in the East, but only a point out of 6th as they start a stretch of four games in six days tonight.

North Bay is home to Sault Ste Marie tomorrow, entertain MIssissauga on Sunday and travel to Ottawa on Family Day.

Broadcast time tonight on Country 600 CKAT is 7 pm.
