The chair of Community Services pulled a staff report on the West Ferris arena issue at the last minute Tuesday night.

It was slated to come to council.

Councillor Joanne Brousseau says she did so because she had questions about some possible old information.

“The numbers were based on 2012 numbers. The population and the economy has changed I want to verify whether it’s one pad we need or two.  Has that changed?,” she asks.

Brousseau says the company that provided the 2012 info will be brought back for an update, with a report expected in two months.

The report was recommending a double ice pad Community Centre on City owned land at the Omischl Sports Complex.

Staff were recommending council approve a Request for Proposal process to select the architectural and engineering firms to assist in the design and tendering during construction.
