The Aboriginal Curatorial Collective based in Sturgeon Falls is receiving $100,000 in federal funding.

Nickel Belt MP Marc Serre says the funds will support the organizations Nomadic Institute project, and Indigenous Arts Engagement Strategy.

The Aboriginal Curatorial Collective supports Canadian and international Indigenous curators, critics, artists and representatives of arts and cultural organizations.

The province has announced $190,000 in funding for 2 projects in Burks Falls.

$144,000 goes towards the launch of Missing Link Adventure Tours (MLAT) and Santosha Farm an all-season tourism and agri-food business.

The rest around $47,000 will go to the municipality to support a regional economic development plan.
