Health Unit advises on workplace signage

The Health Unit is reporting that employers need to update signage in their workplaces after updates to the Smoke-Free Ontario Act.

They say the act now prohibits smoking, and vaping of tobacco, cannabis and other substances in enclosed workplaces, including vehicles.

Free signs are available at the Health Unit at 345 Oak Street West.

They say every workplace is responsible for posting no smoking and no vaping signs.
