The city is waiting for a legal review before commenting further on a ruling from the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario.

That from CAO Keith Robicheau after the IPC ruled the city must disclose a Confidential Employment Agreement involving a ‘Corporate Advisor” role to a city resident who filed the appeal.

“Right now it’s under review by legal services and until I have some analysis by legal and what the implications are I can’t really comment further on it,” Robicheau says.

Corporate Advisor was the job title listed for former CAO Jerry Knox on the 2016 and 2017 Sunshine Lists.

The commissioner also ruled the city “did not conduct a reasonable search for records” and has ordered them to do so.
