Home improvement retail giant Lowe’s has announced it will close 31 stores in Canada.

In a release, the company said the locations are underperforming.

RONA Sudbury on Barry Downe along with two stores in Sault Ste Marie, RONA on Black Road and Lowe’s on Northern Avenue are among the stores that will be closing.

Lowe’s expects to close the impacted stores by the end of the company’s 2018 fiscal year (Feb. 1, 2019).
