Last week was National School Bus Safety Week and city police say the vast majority of motorists were driving safely around school buses.

However, two drivers were charged with failing to stop for a school bus.

A male driver was charged last Wednesday after failing to stop for a school bus on Cassells Street.

The next day a female driver was charged for the same infraction on the 700 block of Front Street.

North Bay Police followed multiple school bus routes between October 23rd and 26th as a part of the national safety initiative.
