The Powassan Voodoos have a busy weekend with three games in four days.

They’re home to Kirkland Lake tonight (Friday), visit French River tomorrow night then entertain Cochrane on Monday.

Tonight’s game against the Gold Miners goes at 7 pm at the Powassan Sportsplex.

 

In OUA hockey, both Nipissing teams are on the road this weekend to Kitchener/Waterloo.

The men play Laurier tonight then Waterloo tomorrow.

The Nipissing women, meantime, play Waterloo tomorrow then Laurier on Sunday.

Both Lakers teams have two wins and two losses on the season.

Both Nipissing Lakers soccer teams have quarterfinal matches on Sunday.

The men visit Ottawa to play on Carleton while the women are in Kingston to take on Queen’s.

In OUA women’s basketball, Nipissing opens the season in Sudbury tonight against Laurentian.

 

In OCAA sports, the Canadore men’s basketball team and both Panthers volleyball teams are home to Loyalist this weekend.

On Sunday at 1 pm, Canadore is hosting an all-ages tail gate party, that is open to the community, too.

It’s taking place outside the Education Centre gym.
