The Nipissing Association for Disabled Youth is saying thanks.

The organization received a $30,000 cheque on Monday from the Rotary Club of North Bay at its monthly meeting.

NADY’s Dooley Ricci says the money was raised through a popular community fundraising event.

“Part of our Longest Morning with KISS 100.5. Rotary has been so good to NADY. We’ve been partners since 1980. This is our 38th year together in providing assistance for disabled families in North Bay,” Ricci says.

He says the funds will support camps they operate with One Kids Place.

“They go for 8 weeks in the summer in July and August and every Saturday the other 10 months,” he says.

This year Kevin’s Longest Morning raised over $71,000 for Rotary 4 Kids.
