City police report two separate investigations have led to charges involving possession of child pornography.

The first incident involved a complaint to North Bay Police from a man who said he received several images on a social media app that appeared to be child pornography.

A 28 year old Espanola man has been charged.

Meantime, a 35 year old city man has been charged with possession, accessing and making child pornography available after a separate investigation.

Police say information received from Sault Ste Marie Police led to a search of a North Bay residence this week.

Several devices were seized and the investigation continues.
