City police report a North Bay man is facing charges including impaired operation of a vessel after emergency crews were called to a capsized boat with three people in the water on Monday night.

The incident happened off Sunset Park.

Police also say small amount of hashish was seized.

BayToday earlier this week reported the three people, including a two year old girl, were rescued by two friends in a canoe.

Two men are facing charges including possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine after a North Bay Police Street Crimes Unit investigation.

A 40 year old man from Hamilton and a 30 year old man of no fixed address were arrested yesterday (Thursday).

Police searched a Main Street residence and seized nearly $19,000 worth of cocaine, a handful of hydro morphine pills and a bit of Canadian cash.
