The vehicle belonging to missing man — who’s cellphone was last used in the North Bay area — has been found in Laurier Township.

Almaguin OPP located Eugene Kim’s vehicle on Thursday.

Police say human remains were found inside the car, but a post mortem has to be conducted before they can be identified. Kim was last seen Oct. 2nd in Richmond Hill.

A 20 year old Callander motorist has been charged with racing a motor vehicle.

Police say the driver who was going 60 km/h over the speed limit early Friday morning has had his licence suspended for 7 days and his vehicle impounded for a week.

(counterfeit charges)

An update from city police about counterfeit $100 bills circulating in North Bay.

Police say Thursday they charged a local youth with 3 counts each of possessing counterfeit money and uttering counterfeit money.

The original advisory was last month.

Police say there were 3 incidents where counterfeit money was used to pay for cab fares.
