The North Bay Battalion lost 3-0 in Erie on Saturday night.

Christian Propp turned aside 23 shots for the Battalion in the loss.

The Troops have a 12-18-4 record with 28 points after 34 games, good for third place in the Central Division.

Mississauga and Sudbury, who are both three points back of North Bay, play their final pre-Christmas game today (Sunday).

 

In the NOJHL, the Powassan Voodoos scored a 4-3 win over Hearst last night.

Four different Voodoos scored in the win.

Powassan is unbeaten in six games and plays in Timmins this afternoon.

 

In the Great North Midget League, the North Bay AAA Major Midget Trappers lost 2-1 in a shootout to the Sudbury Nickel Capital Major Midget Wolves last night.

Cole Craft scored the lone goal for North Bay with Joel Rainville making 33 saves in the loss.

Both teams meet up again Tuesday in Sudbury.
