The North Bay area is under a snow squall watch.

That from Environment Canada which says snow squalls are expected to develop with 10 to 15 cm of snow possible.

Strong winds will also cause blowing snow and reduced visiblity.

Meantime, school transportation officials advise school buses across the district are cancelled today (Wednesday December 6th).

Schools remain open.

Of note, the basketball tournament scheduled for today at École élémentaire publique Héritage has been postponed.

The hope is for it to be played tomorrow.
