It was a timely dog walking excursion, to say the least.

North Bay Police have charged a 27 year old city man with trespass by night and possession of break-in instruments.

This after a Tackaberry Drive resident, returning home from walking his dog on Monday night around 11 pm, found a person rummaging through the family vehicle.

He physically removed the man and held him for police.

The man is also charged with obstruct police for providing a false name.
