Job fair Wednesday at North Bay City Hall

If you’re looking for work you may want to check out a job fair at city hall on Wednesday.

Carol Porter is the district coordinator for the North Bay and District Chamber of Commerce employment project.

She says they’ve partnered with the District of Nipissing Social Services Administration Board.

Porter says they’ll have sectors from several areas represented including health care and call centers

“We’ve got food services, hospitality, transportation and the Canadian Forces Base.” she says.

Porter says the employers are looking for full and part time workers whether it be adults or younger workers.

“There’ll be quite a few positions for students whether it be high school, college or university so we would like everyone to come out and meet with the employers and be ready to do interviews.” she says.

She says the fair’s hours are from 10-2 and the location is on the first and 2nd floors at city hall.
