Job vacancies up in June in Nipissing

There were 484 job vacancies in Nipissing in June.

According to the Labour Market Group’s latest job vacancies report, that’s an increase of 73 from May.

It’s also up nearly nine percent compared to the same month last year.

The top 5 employers were Stats Canada, HGS Canada, YMCA of North Bay, Zedd Customer Solutions and Stock Transportation.

The top 3 hiring industries are Health Care and Social Assistance, Retail Trade and Public Administration.

Nearly 53 percent of the jobs that listed “hours offered” were full time.
