Mayor Al McDonald, a few city councillors and the city CAO are in Ottawa for the next few days.

They’re taking part in the annual Association of Municipalities of Ontario Conference.

Several sessions are lined up with the Mayor interested in ones that are related to economic development, the ONTC, Cassellholme Redevelopment, Ontario Communities Infrastructure Fund, changes by the LHIN, and employment training for abused and at-risk women’s programs.

Premier Kathleen Wynne, PC Leader Patrick Brown and NDP leader Andrea Horwath are all giving keynote addresses at the conference too.

The conference runs through Wednesday.
