NEW opp policeStarting this month residents in the North East Region can give their feedback on the service levels of the regional Ontario Provincial Police.

The survey will focus on issues such as community security, perceptions of crime and youth issues in the community, OPP presence in the community, service delivery and how the OPP investigates crime and enforces the law.

The Community Satisfaction Survey will be done over the phone by selecting random members of the public who are 16 and older who live within the region.

Once the survey is complete, the results will be used in the OPP Business Action Plan and Annual Report to set out goals and objectives to improve on the OPP’s service delivery.

The information is treated confidentially and the names, telephone numbers, and addresses of those surveyed will not be included in the survey results.
