powerAn award winning Scottish band is coming to North Bay.

North Sea Gas will be playing the Elks Lodge on Tuesday September 15th. Promoter Derek Young of Forever Young Shows says the band has been together for over three decades.

He says they won the 2013 Celtic Music Award from the American Celtic Music Association. That award is for their album “The Fire and Passion of Scotland.”

Young says they’ve performed several sold out shows at the popular Edinburgh Fringe Festival and earned several gold and silver disc awards from the Scottish Music Industry Association.

Young says tickets are $20 in advance at Music City and Gulliver’s. Showtime is 7:30.
